The development of Christology in the Fathers, the Creeds, and the Councils. 4. Medieval Christology and the Reformation. 5. Christological reflection from the Enlightenment to the Council Vatican II, and beyond. 6. Contemporary issues, including the consciousness of Jesus and Christology in the context of diverse cultures, religions and situations.
II. Mariology: 1. Mariology: its development in the history of the Church, in relation to Christology and to the rest of Christian doctrine. 2. Mariology in the Second Vatican Council, in subsequent magisterial texts and in today’s ecumenical context.
